Red Bull Racing is awaiting a medical evaluation to determine if Isack Hadjar can return to racing in Madrid following a wrist injury. Hadjar has missed the recent Dutch and Italian Grands Prix due to this injury.

Team principal Laurent Mekies indicated that the decision will be based on Hadjar's recovery rather than the race schedule. The team is committed to ensuring Hadjar is fully fit before allowing him back in the car, with another medical review planned in the coming days.

In Hadjar's absence, Yuki Tsunoda has taken over driving duties and recently earned a point at Monza, although this result is now under scrutiny due to an appeal by Audi regarding a restart ruling. Red Bull has a capable substitute ready, allowing them to prioritize Hadjar's health over a rushed return.
