Ishan Kishan Aims to Reclaim Test Spot Amid Competition

Ishan Kishan is focused on regaining his place in India's Test cricket team, expressing enthusiasm for the competition in the longest format. The 28-year-old wicketkeeper-batter recently led East Zone to a significant victory in the Duleep Trophy quarterfinal against North East Zone.

Kishan made his Test debut in July 2023 but has not played a red-ball match since then, having spent two years away from white-ball internationals. He has recently returned to T20Is and ODIs in 2026, but a Test call-up remains uncertain. Despite this, he remains optimistic about his chances.
