Israel Adesanya Begins Training with Alexander Volkanovski in Australia

Israel Adesanya has traveled to Australia to train alongside Alexander Volkanovski, marking his first confirmed training camp since departing from City Kickboxing earlier this year.

Adesanya was seen in various social media posts at Freestyle Fighting Gym in Wollongong, where Volkanovski is preparing for his upcoming UFC 333 fight against Movsar Evloev. Footage shared by one of Adesanya's nutritionists showed him engaged in a full day of training, indicating his return to active preparation.

Adesanya ended his 16-year relationship with City Kickboxing in March after a knockout loss to Joe Pyfer, citing the need for change following a challenging streak of 1-5 in his last six fights. While there were rumors of tension with new light heavyweight champion Carlos Ulberg, neither fighter has confirmed any issues. Adesanya has not yet announced his next opponent or fight date, but he has expressed a desire to continue competing.
