It Is What It Is Candy & Gifts Opens Pop-Up on Calder Way

This fall, It Is What It Is Candy & Gifts has opened a pop-up location on Calder Way, bringing a selection of sweet treats to the area. The family-owned business, based in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, is recognized for its wide range of candies and unique gifts.

Owned by Fabre Sanders, Larry Miller, and Art Sanders, the pop-up represents a long-desired expansion into downtown State College. The original store began as a gift shop in Lock Haven in 2018, and after expanding into a second storefront, it now offers high-quality chocolates, fudge, and a variety of nostalgic sweets.

The pop-up shop is located at 236 E. Calder Way and will be open throughout September and October. The Sanders family also operates candy locations in Lewisburg, Williamsport, and Mill Hall, Pennsylvania.
