Ja Morant to Miss at Least Four Weeks Due to Hamstring Injury
Ja Morant of the Portland Trail Blazers is expected to be out for at least four weeks following a Grade 2 hamstring strain. The injury occurred during a game against his former team, Memphis, where he left the court with discomfort.
ESPN's Shams Charania reported that Morant's injury will keep him from playing until around early December. This setback is particularly challenging for the Trail Blazers, who have started the season with a 3-1 record and were benefiting from the partnership between Morant and Damian Lillard.
Morant has averaged 15.8 points per game this season, and his absence will likely increase the responsibilities of teammate Jrue Holiday as the team adjusts to fill the gap left by Morant's injury.
