Jack Della Maddalena has voiced his belief that Ian Machado Garry will defeat Islam Makhachev at UFC 330, despite Makhachev's previous victory over him. Makhachev, who achieved two-division success nine months ago, will defend his title against Garry in Philadelphia.

During their encounter at UFC 322, Makhachev controlled Della Maddalena for over 19 minutes, leading to a unanimous decision victory with three 50-45 scorecards. Della Maddalena, who struggled to mount an offense with only 30 strikes landed, acknowledges Makhachev's skills but predicts Garry's length and strategy will secure him the win.

Garry, known for his confidence, aims to upset Makhachev, who is on the verge of achieving a record-breaking 17th consecutive UFC victory. Garry's only loss came in a close match against Shavkat Rakhmonov two years ago.
