Jack Grealish Returns to Everton on Loan from Manchester City
Everton has finalized a season-long loan agreement for Jack Grealish, who is moving from Manchester City. The 30-year-old winger is scheduled to undergo a medical examination at Everton, with the transfer expected to be completed before the 23:00 BST deadline on Tuesday.
Grealish previously played for Everton under a similar loan arrangement last season, where he scored two goals and provided six assists in 20 matches before suffering a foot injury in January. Although he was linked with other clubs, including Aston Villa, Grealish preferred to return to Everton, where the club's chief executive confirmed ongoing communication with him.
As Everton looks to enhance its attacking lineup, they are also nearing a £40 million deal for Folarin Balogun from Monaco. Meanwhile, discussions are ongoing regarding a potential move for Nathan Patterson to Torino, and the club's efforts to re-sign Richarlison from Tottenham have encountered obstacles over personal terms.
