Jack Miller Addresses Pitlane Outburst at Sepang
Jack Miller, a rider for Pramac Yamaha, has expressed regret to his team after displaying frustration over his wet-weather bike not being prepared during the sprint race at Sepang. His outburst was captured on television as he reacted to a miscommunication regarding the readiness of his second bike.
After deciding to switch bikes due to light rain, Miller returned to the pits only to find that his second machine was not ready, which led to his anger directed at his crew, including crew chief Giacomo Guidotti. He acknowledged that the misunderstanding stemmed from differing interpretations of when the bike should be ready.
Miller clarified that the decision to change bikes was his own, based on his assessment of the weather conditions. He later calmed down and reconciled with his team, admitting that his reaction was inappropriate. Ultimately, the rain did not intensify as anticipated, making the bike change unnecessary.
