Jack Shepherd Sentenced for Assaulting Girlfriend

Jack Shepherd, known for his previous manslaughter conviction, has been sentenced to 20 months in prison for violently assaulting his girlfriend, along with an additional four years on extended license. The sentencing took place at Isleworth Crown Court after Shepherd pleaded guilty to two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and property damage.

The violent incidents occurred in February and June of last year. In February, Shepherd admitted to pinning his girlfriend down and hitting her multiple times, resulting in bruises. In the June incident, he struck her with barbecue tongs, causing a permanent scar after an argument over a burnt pizza.

Shepherd, 38, was previously sentenced to six years for manslaughter in 2018 after a speedboat crash led to the death of Charlotte Brown in December 2015. He was released on license in January 2024 but was recalled to prison in September 2024 due to allegations of violence against his girlfriend.
