Fatu discussed his battles with addiction and the support he received from his wife throughout his wrestling career. He revealed that he faced uncertainty about his job status for 19 days before Triple H decided to give him another chance, emphasizing the importance of overcoming his challenges.

At WrestleMania 41, Fatu achieved a significant milestone by winning his first singles title in WWE, defeating LA Knight for the US Title. He later faced Drew McIntyre in an unsanctioned match and continued to advance in the singles division, culminating in a championship match against Roman Reigns at Backlash.
