Jacob Latz Secures 30th Save in Rangers' Victory Over Red Sox

In Arlington, Texas, Jacob Latz recorded his 30th save of the season as the Texas Rangers triumphed over the Boston Red Sox 4-2 on Tuesday night at Globe Life Field.

Latz entered the game with one out in the eighth inning, striking out Andruw Monasterio with the bases loaded. He pitched 1 2/3 innings, allowing one hit and no earned runs, while walking one and striking out three. His earned run average now stands at 2.00, and he has accumulated 76 strikeouts in 67 1/3 innings across 54 appearances.
