The match saw Stratton, who was already nursing rib injuries from a previous encounter, initially trying to protect interim champion Chelsea Green at ringside. Jayne took control early, pushing Stratton into the corner and capitalizing on distractions caused by Lainey Reid.

Despite Stratton's attempts to rally with various offensive moves, including a cartwheel Alabama Slam, Jayne countered effectively.
