Jae Crowder Joins ASVEL Basket for 2026/27 Season

Jae Crowder, a veteran forward, has signed with ASVEL Basket for the 2026/27 season, continuing his career in France after not playing in the NBA during the previous season.

Selected 34th overall in the 2012 NBA Draft, Crowder has played 812 regular season games over 13 seasons with nine teams, most recently with the Kings in the 2024/25 season. Although he did not participate in the NBA last year, he played briefly with the Vaqueros de Bayamon in Puerto Rico.

This marks Crowder's first experience playing in Europe. ASVEL, coached by Tony Parker, has recently made several notable signings despite earlier financial concerns, including former NBA player Patty Mills. Last season, ASVEL finished with a 20-10 record in the LNB Élite but was eliminated in the first round of the playoffs.
