Jaguars' Brian Thomas Jr. Injury Update After Practice Scare
The Jacksonville Jaguars are optimistic about wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. following an injury scare during practice on Tuesday. Thomas, who had a challenging 2025 season, was forced to leave practice due to a left shoulder injury.
After the session, head coach Liam Coen provided an update, indicating that the injury was not serious and that it was prudent to hold Thomas out of practice to ensure his readiness for the upcoming game against the Cleveland Browns. During a joint practice with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Thomas had previously caught a touchdown pass from quarterback Trevor Lawrence before exiting.
As the Jaguars prepare for their final preseason game against the Buccaneers, it appears unlikely that starters will participate significantly. Thomas is expected to be a key target for Lawrence in the upcoming season, alongside newly acquired Jakobi Meyers.
