Jaguars Coach Liam Coen Comments on Colts' Player Trades

Jaguars head coach Liam Coen noted that the Colts' recent trades of key players may ease his team's challenge, but emphasized the need for focus on their own performance.

Jaguars head coach Liam Coen remarked that the upcoming game against the Colts has become somewhat easier following the trades of two significant players, Quenton Nelson and DeForest Buckner. The Jaguars are set to face the Colts on Sunday, a team that is shifting its focus from winning this season to future development.

Coen expressed respect for both players, highlighting their recent performances and impact on the field. He stressed the importance of the Jaguars concentrating on their own game, execution, and fundamentals rather than getting distracted by the Colts' situation. Coen also addressed speculation about potential trades involving Jonathan Taylor, suggesting he does not expect any further moves.

He reminded his team that the Colts will still be competitive, recalling a recent game against Philadelphia where injuries did not prevent a strong performance. Coen emphasized that in the NFL, outcomes can be unpredictable.
