Jaguars Edge Eagles with Last-Second Field Goal
The Jacksonville Jaguars secured a dramatic 19-17 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, thanks to a 57-yard field goal by Cam Little as time expired.
Philadelphia had briefly taken the lead with a 48-yard field goal from Jake Elliott, leaving just eight seconds on the clock. However, Ameer Abdullah's 53-yard kickoff return set up Little's game-winning kick with only one second remaining.
Eagles coach Nick Sirianni took responsibility for the decision to keep the ball in play instead of opting for a touchback. Quarterback Jalen Hurts noted that the final possession's strategy was not his decision, expressing his commitment to executing the play calls. The Eagles, now at 2-3, struggled offensively, managing only 232 total yards, while the Jaguars improved to 4-1.
