Jaguars Place Anton Harrison on Injured Reserve for Knee Surgery
Anton Harrison, the left tackle for the Jacksonville Jaguars, has been placed on injured reserve as he prepares for arthroscopic knee surgery. The team announced that his recovery timeline will not be clear until after the procedure.
Regardless of the surgery's outcome, Harrison is expected to miss at least four games. There are concerns that he may not return for the remainder of the season. In his absence, Walker Little will take over the left tackle position for the upcoming game against the Texans in London.
To fill Harrison's roster spot, the Jaguars signed safety Kaevon Merriweather from their practice squad. Additionally, long snapper Jacob Bobenmoyer has been added to the practice squad following an injury to Ross Matiscik during the last game.
