Jaguars Sign Linebacker Jahlani Tavai

The Jacksonville Jaguars have officially signed linebacker Jahlani Tavai, as announced by the team on Thursday.

This signing comes as the Jaguars waived linebacker Jared Bartlett, who was designated with an injury.

Tavai, who is 29 years old, was previously released by the New England Patriots in March after two seasons with the team. In the 2025 season, he recorded 42 tackles and a forced fumble across 12 games, including seven starts. Over his seven-year career, Tavai has played in 107 games, starting 67, and has accumulated 432 tackles, among other defensive statistics.
