Jai Arrow to Play Two Matches for Rabbitohs After MND Diagnosis

Jai Arrow, a rugby league player diagnosed with motor neurone disease (MND), will be allowed to play in the opening moments of two upcoming matches for the South Sydney Rabbitohs, enabling him to achieve 100 games for the club.

The National Rugby League (NRL) has granted a special exception to its rules, permitting Arrow to participate in the Rabbitohs' last two games of the regular season, despite his retirement earlier this year following his diagnosis.

Arrow, who has played 178 NRL games throughout his career, will lead the team onto the field in full kit before stepping off as the first interchange player. The Rabbitohs are set to face the Gold Coast Titans and the Sydney Roosters in their final matches. The club's CEO expressed gratitude for the support received in facilitating this opportunity, highlighting Arrow's inspirational fight against MND.
