Jaime Uhr-Henry Joins Hurstbridge for 2027 Season
Jaime Uhr-Henry, a 209cm ruck previously with Hawthorn, has signed with Hurstbridge in the Northern Football Netball League for the 2027 season.
The 23-year-old was on the Hawks' list for two seasons after being drafted as a Category B rookie in 2024, but he did not make an AFL debut. Hurstbridge announced the signing on Saturday, highlighting Uhr-Henry's impressive height and his transition from basketball to football.
Uhr-Henry's notable performance this past season included 45 hit outs in a match against Richmond. The club expressed excitement about his potential contributions, particularly his mobility and tackling skills, as they aim to enhance their midfield for a stronger push towards finals.
