Jairzinho Rozenstruik Signs with Fight Nation Championship After Long Hiatus

Jairzinho Rozenstruik, known as 'Bigi Boy', is making a comeback to mixed martial arts with Fight Nation Championship (FNC) after a hiatus of over a year and a half since his last fight in the UFC.

Rozenstruik's last UFC appearance ended in a defeat to Sergei Pavlovich, marking a challenging period for the heavyweight fighter who previously headlined six UFC events. Despite a promising start to his career, including a notable knockout of Alistair Overeem, he struggled to maintain momentum following a loss to Francis Ngannou.

After a brief stint with Mike Perry's Dirty Boxing, where he secured two knockout victories and a heavyweight title, Rozenstruik's anticipated signing with the PFL did not materialize. His return to the cage is scheduled for FNC 37 in Munich on February 6, 2027, although details about his opponent have yet to be disclosed.
