Jak Crawford to Drive in FP1 at Mexico City Grand Prix
Aston Martin has announced that Jak Crawford, the team's third driver, will take part in the first practice session (FP1) at the Mexico City Grand Prix, driving Lance Stroll's AMR26.
This session will be Crawford's fourth FP1 appearance of the 2026 season, fulfilling the team's requirement for rookie practice sessions. The announcement coincides with Crawford's home race weekend at the United States Grand Prix in Austin, where he originally hails from.
Crawford made his Formula One practice debut at the same circuit last year. Since then, he has gained valuable experience through various race weekend appearances, testing, and simulator work, enhancing his skills and technical understanding.
