Jake Ferguson Wins Appeal Against Beer Celebration Fine

Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson has successfully appealed a fine imposed for his beer celebration during a game against the Commanders in Week 2.

Ferguson was fined $13,611 for mimicking the act of chugging a beer after scoring a touchdown. He argued that his gesture was intended to imitate drinking from a Gatorade bottle and provided evidence of having performed the same celebration multiple times before.

In a related case, Colts guard Matt Goncalves was also fined for a similar celebration, but the outcome of his appeal has not yet been disclosed.
