Jake Stringer Joins St Kilda, Becomes 14th Four-Club Player in AFL Era
Jake Stringer is set to join St Kilda, marking his status as the 14th player in the AFL era to have played for four different clubs.
After departing the Greater Western Sydney Giants at the end of 2026, where he scored 48 goals, Stringer opted for St Kilda, which needed to enhance its forward line. He was previously linked to Collingwood and Essendon but ultimately signed with St Kilda as a delisted free agent.
Stringer began his AFL career with the Western Bulldogs, where he won a premiership in 2016 and earned an All-Australian blazer. He later spent seven years at Essendon before signing a two-year contract with GWS in 2024. Over his career, he has played 250 games and scored 440 goals, becoming a seven-time leading goal-kicker for his clubs.
