Jalen Hurts Diagnosed with Serious Health Conditions
Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts is facing a serious health issue that will likely end his 2026 season. He has been diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis and multiple pulmonary embolisms after playing just eight days ago with a blood clot in his leg.
The diagnosis was confirmed following comprehensive medical evaluations by specialists. Initially, Hurts was diagnosed with a left calf superficial vein thrombosis in London, but further tests revealed the more severe conditions. He is currently stable and undergoing treatment with anticoagulants, which will prevent him from participating in contact activities, including football.
Despite the seriousness of his condition, Hurts is expected to make a full recovery and will remain involved with the team during his treatment. The Eagles and his agent have expressed optimism about his prognosis and are focused on his health and recovery.
