Jalen Hurts Out for Season Due to Serious Health Issues
Jalen Hurts has been sidelined for the rest of the NFL season as he deals with significant health issues, including multiple blood clots. The Eagles announced that he will be out for approximately three months while he recovers.
Initially diagnosed with a left calf superficial vein thrombosis, further tests revealed a deep vein thrombosis and bilateral pulmonary emboli. Hurts is clinically stable but requires anticoagulation treatment. He will not participate in any contact activities during his recovery.
Hurts' season concluded with a loss to the Jaguars in London. Tanner McKee is now starting as quarterback for the Eagles, having faced challenges in his recent game against the Panthers.
