Ja'Marr Chase Misses Wednesday Practice, Expected to Play Sunday
Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase was absent from practice on Wednesday, but indications suggest he will be available for the game against the Titans on Sunday.
Cincinnati reported that Chase was listed as a non-participant due to an ankle injury, although he was also noted to be resting. This suggests he may have been able to practice but opted for treatment instead.
In the previous game against Baltimore, Chase played 87 percent of the offensive snaps, matching the participation of teammate Tee Higgins. Throughout the season, he has recorded 32 receptions for 351 yards and five touchdowns, without yet achieving a 100-yard game. Other players on the injury report included safety Kyle Dugger and defensive tackle Jonathan Allen, who also did not practice, while safety Jordan Battle and linebacker Joe Giles-Harris were limited participants.
