Jameson Taillon Exits Game Against Red Sox Due to Forearm Discomfort

Jameson Taillon exited his first home start with the Toronto Blue Jays during a game against the Boston Red Sox after four innings due to an apparent injury.

After completing the fourth inning, Taillon spoke with Blue Jays manager John Schneider and the team's training staff before being announced as having right forearm discomfort. He had recorded three strikeouts, allowed one hit, and issued three walks while throwing 61 pitches.

Simeon Woods Richardson took over for Taillon in the fifth inning. This was Taillon's second appearance with the Blue Jays since being traded from the Chicago Cubs before the August 3 deadline.
