Jamie Carragher Critiques Bruno Fernandes After Manchester United's Loss to Como

After Manchester United's 4-1 defeat to Como, Bruno Fernandes expressed criticism of the team's tactical approach, particularly the decision not to employ a man-to-man pressing strategy. Jamie Carragher responded by condemning Fernandes' remarks and praised Michael Carrick for defending his tactics during a press conference.

Carragher highlighted that Fernandes' comments were inappropriate, especially given his previous success under Carrick's management. He noted that Fernandes' behavior on the pitch has not been conducive to the team's success, suggesting that his attitude is not fitting for a captain of Manchester United.

While Carragher believes that this incident could mark the end of Carrick's tenure as manager, he also pointed out that simply changing managers may not resolve the underlying issues at the club. Paul Merson echoed this sentiment, arguing that stability is needed to improve the team's performance.
