Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor Discuss Brawling Birds Tag Team Journey

Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor, known as the Brawling Birds, have emerged as a formidable tag team in AEW over recent months, showcasing a hard-hitting wrestling style that complements each other well.

During an interview on Close Up with Renee Paquette, Windsor recounted how the duo was formed, revealing that a producer approached her in January with the suggestion to team up with Hayter, to which she readily agreed. Hayter expressed her excitement upon learning about the partnership, noting their long acquaintance but lack of close ties prior to this collaboration.

The name Brawling Birds was reportedly suggested by Tony Khan, which Windsor described as a fitting reference to their British heritage. Although they have not yet won any titles together, they are targeting the AEW Women's Tag Team Champions, Divine Dominion, with aspirations to compete against them at AEW All In in England later this month.
