Jamie Ritchie Set for Glasgow Warriors Debut Against Benetton

Jamie Ritchie is set to debut for the Glasgow Warriors this weekend in their United Rugby Championship match against Benetton in Treviso. The former Scotland captain, who joined from French club Perpignan, has been sidelined due to ankle and Achilles tendon injuries but is now fully fit.

Glasgow assistant coach Nigel Carolan confirmed that Ritchie has integrated well into the team's systems and is eager to participate. Ritchie, who has 63 caps for Scotland, spent over a decade with Edinburgh before his recent move to Glasgow on a two-year contract.

Carolan emphasized the importance of timing in Ritchie's return, noting that they did not want to rush his recovery after surgery. The Warriors currently sit second in the URC standings and are looking to build on their strong start to the season.
