Ja'Quinden Jackson Injured During Preseason Game Against Patriots
During a preseason game on Saturday at Gillette Stadium, Philadelphia Eagles running back Ja'Quinden Jackson sustained an injury on the opening kickoff against the New England Patriots.
Jackson, who was part of the Eagles' kickoff team, was injured while attempting to tackle Patriots return man Lan Larison. It appeared that Larison's knee struck Jackson's head, causing him to lie motionless on the field. Medical personnel attended to him, and he was subsequently transported off the field on a stretcher and taken to a local hospital.
Following the incident, the Eagles reported that Jackson had strength and movement in all his extremities. The Eagles sideline gathered around him as he was being treated, and he received cheers from the crowd as he left the field. Jackson had recently signed with the Eagles after being released by the Jacksonville Jaguars.
