Jared Goff Aims for Historic Touchdown Record Against Packers

Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff seeks to make NFL history by throwing 15 touchdown passes without interceptions in the first six games of the season.

The Detroit Lions, with a record of 3-2, are set to face the Green Bay Packers following their bye week. Quarterback Jared Goff has the opportunity to achieve a milestone that has never been reached in NFL history.

Currently, Goff has thrown 12 touchdown passes without any interceptions over the first five games. If he manages to throw at least three touchdowns without interceptions in the upcoming game, he will be the first quarterback to start a season with 15 or more touchdown passes and no interceptions through six games.

Goff is also performing well in terms of passing yards, averaging 297.0 yards per game, ranking him third in the league. However, the Lions' defense will face a significant challenge against the Packers, which is crucial for the team to maintain their winning record.
