Jared Goff Celebrates 32nd Birthday Amid NFL Milestones

Jared Goff, the starting quarterback for the Detroit Lions, celebrates his 32nd birthday today. Goff, a five-time Pro Bowler, was the first overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.

His rookie season was challenging, as he started seven games without a win, accumulating 1,089 passing yards, five touchdowns, and seven interceptions. However, Goff's performance improved significantly in the following years, leading the Rams to 11 and 13 wins in 2017 and 2018, respectively, and earning a spot in Super Bowl LIII, where they lost to the Patriots.

In 2021, Goff was traded to the Lions, where he initially struggled in a 3-13 season. Since then, he has surpassed 4,000 passing yards each season, guiding the Lions to a 15-win season in 2024. Currently, the Lions hold a 3-2 record in 2026, recently achieving a 45-21 victory over Arizona, with Goff contributing three touchdown passes and a rushing touchdown.
