Jared Odrick Transitions from NFL to Racing with New Purpose

Jared Odrick, a former NFL lineman, is now pursuing a career in racing, having shed about 50 pounds since his playing days. At 38 years old and standing 6-foot-5, he has adapted to the challenges of fitting into race cars.

Odrick's passion for racing ignited during a visit to a racing experience in Las Vegas, leading him to purchase a Porsche Cup car for amateur racing. He has since progressed to compete in the TransAm series and is set to make his second NASCAR Canada Series start in Markham.

Despite facing physical challenges from past injuries, Odrick remains determined to compete at various levels in racing. He expressed enthusiasm about his recent performance and aims to continue developing his skills in the sport, finding new meaning and purpose in this transition from football.
