Jaren Jackson Jr. Returns to Memphis for Season Opener

Jaren Jackson Jr. returned to Memphis on Wednesday night for the first time since his trade to the Jazz in February, marking the season opener.

During the game, he received a standing ovation from fans, many of whom wore his former Grizzlies jersey. Jackson played for 28 minutes, scoring 15 points but fouled out and committed five turnovers, which he found disappointing.

The evening was emotionally charged due to a tribute to his late friend and former teammate, Brandon Clarke, who passed away in May. Jackson reflected on their friendship and the impact Clarke had on the community, expressing that the memory of Clarke would always remain with him.
