Jason Gillespie Critiques Aaqib Javed Over PCB's Squad Changes

Jason Gillespie, the former head coach of Pakistan, has expressed his discontent with Aaqib Javed, the chief selector of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), following significant changes to the team after two losses to England.

In response to Pakistan's defeats in the first two Tests, the PCB replaced head coach Sarfaraz Ahmed and bowling coach Umar Gul, and sent seven players home. Gillespie, who previously led Pakistan to a Test series victory over England, noted the painful nature of the current situation for the players, who he believes are playing under pressure.

He criticized the inconsistency in selection decisions under Javed's leadership, stating that the lack of a clear strategy is evident. Gillespie also highlighted communication issues, revealing that some players learned of their dismissal through social media rather than direct communication from the PCB.
