
Jason Horne-Francis Wins First John Cahill Medal
Port Adelaide midfielder Jason Horne-Francis has won his first John Cahill Medal, finishing ahead of Zak Butters in a competitive tally.
Horne-Francis received 88 votes, while Butters followed closely with 83 votes, and Mitch Georgiades came in third with 69 votes. Horne-Francis has shown significant improvement this season, averaging 23.3 disposals, 1.3 goals, 4.9 marks, 5.8 clearances, and 3.3 tackles per game.
Willem Drew and Joe Richards completed the top five with 56 and 55 votes, respectively. Drew also earned the Fos Williams Medal for best team player, while Jack Whitlock was recognized as the best player under 21 with the Gavin Wanganeen Medal. Benny Barrett received the John McCarthy Medal for his community service efforts.
