Jason Kelce Surprises Amateur Rugby Players in London
Jason Kelce, a former Super Bowl champion with the Philadelphia Eagles, surprised amateur rugby players in Hackney, London, by participating in a friendly match on Wednesday. Kelce played for Old Streetonians against Hackney RFC in a 30-minute game.
The 38-year-old, who is exploring different sports for his YouTube channel, was joined by former teammate Beau Allen. Kelce, who played 13 seasons in the NFL, was learning rugby techniques from ex-Harlequins player Joe Marler prior to the match.
Players from Hackney RFC expressed their excitement about facing Kelce, noting his physical presence on the field. Despite initial challenges with the rules, he quickly adapted and showcased his athleticism. After the game, Kelce and Allen engaged with the local players, sharing drinks and participating in team traditions.
