Jaxon Binns Joins Williamstown for 2027 VFL Season

Jaxon Binns, a former AFL winger, is set to play for Williamstown in the VFL during the 2027 season.

Binns was previously with Carlton from 2023 to 2025, where he participated in eight matches and averaged 17 disposals per game. He was released from Carlton at the end of the last season despite having a year remaining on his contract.

In 2026, the 21-year-old played for Essendon VFL and excelled in their summer training, winning the two-kilometre time trial and averaging 22 disposals over 18 games. His signing follows the announcement of Torin Baker as the new head coach for the Seagulls in 2027. Additionally, Jack Toner has left the team to join the WAFL, while Williamstown finished eighth in the previous season, losing to Essendon in the elimination final.
