Jay-Z Reportedly Set to Perform at Super Bowl LXI Halftime Show
The NFL has not yet announced the halftime performer for Super Bowl LXI, which is set to take place in Los Angeles. Traditionally, the NFL reveals the performer in September, but as October progresses, fans are still waiting for news.
According to a report by Dave Brooks, Jay-Z, who has been producing the halftime show since 2019, has chosen himself for the upcoming event. Other artists, including Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus, were also considered for the performance.
Jay-Z's contract with the NFL, which is set to renew in 2024, reportedly pays him $5 million annually. It is anticipated that he may officially announce his performance during his shows at SoFi Stadium this weekend, which is also the venue for the Super Bowl, potentially in collaboration with ESPN/ABC.
