Jay-Z to Headline Super Bowl LXI Halftime Show
Jay-Z has been announced as the headliner for the Super Bowl LXI halftime show, which will take place on February 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. The announcement was made during the halftime of the Monday Night Football game between the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles.
This performance marks a notable shift for Jay-Z, who had previously declined to perform at the Super Bowl when Roc Nation partnered with the NFL in 2019. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell had expressed a desire for Jay-Z to perform when the time was right. Jay-Z's upcoming show will be the eighth halftime performance produced by Roc Nation, following a series of successful shows, including Kendrick Lamar's record-breaking performance in 2025.
Jay-Z's announcement follows his recent celebration of the 30th anniversary of his debut album, Reasonable Doubt, which included performances at SoFi Stadium and other venues. Roc Nation will oversee the production of the halftime show, with Hamish Hamilton directing.
