Jayden Maiava Leads USC with High Hopes for College Football Playoff

USC quarterback Jayden Maiava is gearing up for his second full season as the team's starter, aiming for a College Football Playoff berth. He recently hosted a youth camp near his hometown in Hawaii, which exceeded his expectations in attendance.

The Trojans' offense is bolstered by a returning offensive line and talented running backs Waymond Jordan and King Miller. Although the wide receiving group is inexperienced, Maiava has noted promising performances from freshmen receivers, while Tanook Hines, the only returning starter, is expected to recover in time for the season opener.

Coach Lincoln Riley praised Maiava's adaptability with the new receivers, emphasizing the importance of building chemistry.
