Jaylen Brown Reflects on Facing Former Team Celtics

Jaylen Brown, an All-NBA forward, spent a decade with the Boston Celtics before being traded to the Philadelphia 76ers this offseason. As he prepares to face his former team, he will encounter them four times each season.

Brown has had numerous playoff encounters with the 76ers and now must channel that competitive spirit against Boston. His first regular-season return to the Celtics' home court is scheduled for November 10, but he may face them sooner in the preseason.

In a recent livestream, Brown likened the experience of playing against the Celtics to running into an ex, reflecting on the surprising nature of his departure after significant contributions to the team. He has been performing well in the preseason, averaging 20 points per game with impressive shooting percentages, indicating he could pose a challenge to his former team.
