Jaylin Galloway Joins Cairns Taipans on One-Year Deal
Jaylin Galloway, a three-time NBL champion, has officially signed a one-year contract with the Cairns Taipans, as announced by the team.
The 23-year-old wing recently reached an agreement with the Sydney Kings to terminate his contract. During the 2025/26 season, Galloway averaged 9.7 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 1.1 steals over 39 games, playing a key role in the Kings' championship win.
Galloway will be reunited with his brother Kyrin and head coach Adam Forde, who previously signed him in 2020. He expressed his desire for a larger role and the opportunity to play alongside Kyrin, noting their last collaboration was in 2023. Galloway is currently recovering from shoulder surgery and will be reassessed in eight weeks.
