Jazz Chisholm Jr. Benched in ALDS Game 3 Amid Yankees' Sweep

Jazz Chisholm Jr. did not start in the Yankees' crucial Game 3 of the ALDS against the Rays, which resulted in a 4-3 loss, completing a series sweep. After the game, Chisholm declined to comment on his benching.

Chisholm struggled throughout the series, finishing with an 0-for-8 record. Yankees manager Aaron Boone opted for Anthony Volpe at second base instead of Chisholm for the decisive game. Chisholm entered as a pinch hitter in the seventh inning, receiving boos from the crowd after his first at-bat.

Despite the negative reception, Chisholm expressed confusion over the fans' reaction, emphasizing his commitment to helping the team win. As a soon-to-be free agent, he faces uncertainty regarding his future with the Yankees, especially after contributing to errors in previous games.
