Jazz Chisholm Jr. Responds to Booing During ALDS Game
Jazz Chisholm Jr. was not part of the starting lineup for Game 3 of the American League Division Series but made a pinch-hit appearance, where he popped out to first base in the seventh inning and was booed as he returned to the dugout.
Following the game, Chisholm expressed confusion over the boos, noting that it was the playoffs and he was trying to help the team win. He remarked on the expectation of support from fans during crucial games.
Former Yankees first baseman Anthony Rizzo criticized Chisholm's reaction, questioning why he was surprised by the boos given his experience in the league. Chisholm, however, stated that he was not offended by the fans' reactions, acknowledging that even star players like Aaron Judge have faced similar treatment.
