JBL Claims WWE's Integration of AAA is a Success

John Layfield, known as JBL, has stated that WWE's acquisition of Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide represents the first successful integration of another wrestling promotion into WWE. This follows WWE's history of acquiring competitors like WCW and ECW, which many fans viewed as unsuccessful integrations.

Layfield noted that while WWE has previously struggled with integrating other promotions, the relationship with AAA allows both promotions to maintain their core identities while occasionally overlapping in programming. He attributed past failures to Vince McMahon's mindset during the territorial era.

El Hijo Del Vikingo, a former two-time AAA Mega Champion, echoed Layfield's sentiments, describing the partnership as beneficial for both WWE and AAA fans, as it exposes audiences to a wider range of wrestlers and match opportunities.
