During a podcast, JBL revealed that McMahon wanted Pac to embody the Mighty Mouse character, a concept that was ultimately set aside due to Rey Mysterio already filling a similar role. JBL expressed that Pac would have been an ideal fit for this character, highlighting his impressive wrestling skills and popularity during his time in WWE.

JBL noted that Pac garnered significant attention on social media, achieving double the impressions of his peers upon his arrival. He praised Pac as a talented individual and a pleasant person to interact with. Pac departed from WWE in 2017, a decision that reportedly upset McMahon.
