Jed York, Co-Owner of Leeds and Rangers, Arrested in Ohio

Jed York, co-owner of Leeds United and Rangers, was arrested in East Palestine, Ohio, over the weekend and pleaded no contest to misdemeanour charges including disorderly conduct and possessing criminal tools.

Initially charged with engaging in prostitution, the charges were later amended. York was arrested on Sunday morning and released after posting a $5,000 bond. He received a one-day jail sentence for both offences, which will be served concurrently, and was fined $1,150.

As part of the plea agreement, $160 seized during the arrest will be donated to the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force. York also completed an online course. The NFL is reviewing the incident under its personal conduct policy, which could lead to fines or suspensions for owners.
